My Story
Fun fact: I actually started my journey as a Chef. I worked in the kitchen of a 4-star hotel in Cleveland for roughly four and a half years and two years in Atlanta before my culinary expertise moved me to the world of sales and event planning. My culinary knowledge and personality were well needed and well served when offering food and beverages for ballroom space for weddings and events. I later became a Catering and Sales Event Planner. Through wedding and event planning, I discovered how much wedding invitations are strongly tied to the success of the nuptials and the wedding celebration. I also love paper; even in the kitchen, I was obsessed with butcher paper and the “wrapping” of food. It’s no surprise that wedding menus are my favorite piece to design for the “Day of” the wedding.
With my hospitality, education, and event planning experience, I decided to focus on the art and logistics of "Day of Details" and Beautifully Designed Wedding Invitations since couples only have one chance to get invitations right.
It’s an honor to apply my expertise and knowledge to help shine a light on love. As a former wedding planner, I know firsthand that there is so much more to think about and do while planning a wedding. My services provide a tremendous sense of relief, comfort, and excitement. I find that those couples who choose to hire my services are looking to set the tone for the day, want to show their guests appreciation and enjoy the process of planning their wedding invitations. I also find that their guest list means everything; all the details put into selecting the venue and pertinent details were hard work; therefore, they want to make the most significant impact with unique, custom-designed invitations. So here I am, ready to serve you.

Ruby Brewer-Watkins’ professional experience comes with 22 years of experience in the Hospitality and Culinary Industry as an Event Planner and Chef. She has earned her Wedding Planning Certification from the New York Institute of Art & Design, a Wedding Planning Certification from Penn Foster College, and a Certified Wedding Planner designation from the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC). In addition to the wedding couples, Ruby has worked with established organizations, both non-profit and for-profit, for both stationery and event planning services.
